Position indicator for a direct driven cylinder in a processing machine

The position transmitter (13) whose signals are used to control a first cylinder relative to a second is mounted in a rotary joint (8) on a position-changing cylinder axis (12) of the cylinder (2). The transmitter is coupled by gearing means (6,7) to a rotary joint (9) which is fixed relative to the frame . The gearing means are designed with a longitudinal extension level with the contact zone of the two cylinders. A second gearing element (7) is attached at the end and is in functioning connection with the fixed rotary joint. the second gearing element is preferably a leaf spring or other bending elastic element. The cylinder with the position-variable cylinder axis is the rubber blanket cylinder which is in functioning connection with a plate cylinder coupled to the direct drive.
