Zusammenfassung:A system for co-production of hydrogen and electrical energy comprising a reformer (4) configured to receive a reformer fuel and steam and produce a reformate (44) rich in hydrogen. The system further comprises a separation unit (12) in fluid communication with the reformer (4) wherein the separation unit (12) is configured to receive the reformate (44) to separate hydrogen from the reformate (44) and produce an off gas (18). The system also includes a combustor (6) configured to receive a fuel for combustion and produce heat energy and a hot compressed gas (22), wherein the combustor (6) is coupled with the reformer (4). A gas turbine (26) expands the hot compressed gas (22) and produces electrical energy and an expanded gas (30); wherein at least a part of the heat energy from the combustor (6) is used to produce the reformate (44) in the reformer (4)
