Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a method for producing a composite substance from a hydratable mineral material and a filler or filler mixture, in addition to moulded bodies produced from said substance, said method being particularly suitable for producing rigid, poorly inflammable or non-inflammable panel or shell-shaped moulded bodies consisting of natural raw materials. Said method also permits moulded bodies of this type with excellent mechanical properties to be produced from secondary raw materials and industrial waste products. The aim of the invention is to provide a composite substance from a hydratable mineral material and a filler, which combines the advantages of fibre-reinforced board consisting of mineral material with regard to its fireproof properties and rigidity with the impact-resistance of hardboard. To achieve this aim, the hydratable mineral materials are mixed with the filler or filler mixture in a first step. In a second step, a non-hydrosoluble or poorly hydrosoluble adhesive is added and the substance is then given the desired form, generally a panel. The setting of the adhesive is subsequently triggered by evaporation of the solvent of the binding agent, or the latter is melted by heating for a short period. This enables the fibres of the filler to adhere to one another at their contact points. Once the adhesive has set in the pre-moulded body, a quantity of water is added to the pre-hardened substance until the mineral material sets completely. |
