Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to mineral delivery systems and methods. More specifically, the present invention relates to mineral delivery systems and methods that contain an insoluble mineral carbonate and a solid organic acid. When in contact with saliva or other like aqueous solution, the solid acid dissolves and reacts with the mineral carbonate in-situ. The reaction will then convert the water-insoluble mineral carbonate to a soluble mineral organic salt, thus facilitating mineral delivery. The systems and methods of the present invention can employ a variety of different and suitable delivery agents, such as gums or the like.
