Zusammenfassung:	This invention relates to a method and apparatus for parallel processing of communication protocols. More particularly, the invention is directed to an implementation of finite state machines (FSMs) to process, in parallel, communication protocols that are used in processing data packets. The parallel implementation of finite state machines allows for quick and efficient processing of data without using traditional store and forward techniques.
