Zusammenfassung:	The exhaust manifold (1) to connect an exhaust system to at least one cylinder of an internal combustion engine has at least one split manifold section (3,9,17) assembled from at least two moulded shells (4,14,10,20,18,28) joined together by a mechanical form closure. The manifold is provided with at least one inlet (5,11,19), whereby each split manifold is constructed so that the inlet opens into the cylinder. Each split manifold section is fastened by a flange (23) installed on the cylinder. An independent claim is included for a split manifold section as at least one component of an exhaust manifold.
