Zusammenfassung:The illuminated switch array (1), and especially the key (5) for an electrical switch (3), has at least two neighboring and transparent zones (10,11) which are independent of each other as illuminated viewing fields to show a function symbol (7) or function display (8), and the like. The outer surface of the viewing fields has a coating which is not transparent to visible light to separate the illuminated fields. One field is of a transparent glass or plastics, as a lens, and the other is of an opaque material e.g. a milky plastics.
