Process for the preparation of 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-organyl-oxyphosphaphenanthren-10-oxide or thiono and derivatives of the same substituted on the phenyl groups

Production of 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-organyloxy-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxides or -sulfides (I) (optionally substituted in the phenyl groups) comprises: (a) reacting 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide (or its derivative) (II) with orthocarbonate ester(s) (III) in presence of mono- or polyhydric alcohol(s) (IV); (b) optionally reacting with different mono- or polyhydric alcohol(s) (IV); and (c) adding oxidizing agent to the product from (a) or (b). Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von 9,10-Dihydro-9-oxa-10-organyloxyphosphaphenanthren-10-oxid oder -thion und an den Phenylgruppen substituierten Derivaten derselben, bei dem: (a) 9,10-Dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthren-10-oxid oder ein Derivat desselben in Gegenwart von mindestens einem einoder mehrwertigen Alkohol mit mindestens einem Orthocarbonsäureester unter Bildung eines ersten Zwischenprodukts umgesetzt wird, (b) das Zwischenprodukt aus Stufe (a) gegebenenfalls mit mindestens einem weiteren ein- oder mehrwertigen Alkohol unter Bildung eines weiteren Zwischenprodukts umgesetzt wird und (c) das Zwischenprodukt aus den Stufen (a) oder (b) durch Zugabe von Oxidationsmittel in 9,10-Dihydro-9-oxa-10-organyloxyphosphaphenanthren-10-oxid oder -thion oder ein an den Phenygruppen substituiertes Derivat derselben überführt wird.
