Zusammenfassung:	The apparatus has a manifold (10) with inlet plenums providing a heat exchanging fluid to inputs of heat exchanging conduits. A set of outlet plenums receives the fluid from outputs of the conduits. The plenums are in fluid communication only via the conduits. A thickness of the manifold and a dimension of the plenums are chosen such that a pressure drop in the manifold is less than a pressure drop in a core structure. An independent claim is also included for a heat exchanger.
