Zusammenfassung:The system has a portion comprising a heterodyne balanced detector (30) having a real-time externally calibrated tunable laser source for use as a local oscillator to produce a periodic wavelength reference. The balanced detector cancels an intensity modulation of an input signal (26). Another portion cooperates with the portion for real-time wavelength calibration of an optical data signal. An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring and adjusting a wavelength in an optical telecommunication system.
