Certain exemplary embodiments of the present invention provide a method for creating user navigable graphical documentation for use in a healthcare information system, comprising the activities of: creating documentation by supporting a user in: importing a graphical image element from a repository, decomposing said graphical image element into a plurality of segments, establishing links between individual segments of said plurality of segments and an encompassing graphical image element to support navigation within said encompassing graphical image element responsive to a user navigation command, and linking a graphical image element segment with an object comprising text associated with said graphical image element segment. The method can also comprise the activities of associating a name with said documentation, and storing said created documentation in response to a user command.
