Zusammenfassung:The system has a controller (50) that generates a tool control signal (110) to achieve the desired tool movement in response to a received tool command signal (108), and a tool control signal to continuously achieve the desired angular tool velocity in response to the received angular velocity signal (114) when not receiving a tool command signal. The controller has computation and time-keeping capabilities, and is in communication with a tool actuator, a tool command input device (102), and an angular velocity sensor (112). The angular velocity sensor is attached to a tool e.g. backhoe bucket (68) to detect the angular velocity of the tool about a tool pivot and to continuously generate the angular velocity signal. The tool command input device generates the tool command signal in response to manipulation by an operator corresponding to desired tool movement. The tool actuator controllably moves the tool about the tool pivot in response to the received tool control signal. An independent claim is included for the backhoe.
