Zusammenfassung:	The data transmission method has a base station (BS1) associated with a first radio cell (Z1) used for transmitting data packets to a subscriber station (TS) in a serial sequence via a first radio channel (K1), with sorting of the received data packets at the subscriber station into a different serial sequence via an intermediate memory. The transmission of data packets is relayed to a base station (BS2) associated with a second radio cell (Z2) via a second radio channel (K2), with transfer of status information for the intermediate memory of the subscriber station between radio cells. Also included are Independent claims for the following: a cellular radio communications system for packet switched transmission of data; a base station for a cellular radio communications system; a subscriber station for a cellular radio communications system.
