Zusammenfassung:	Non-fashioned refractory compound is made up of a base mixture comprising, by wt: 1 to 6% of hydraulic cement; 94 to 99% of particles of at least one refractory material with alumina, zircon and silica as the main constituents. The fraction of particles of the base mixture have a grain size of less than 40 microns and a distribution, by wt, of: fraction less than 0.5 microns \- 4%; fraction less than 2 microns \-5%; fraction less than 10 microns \- 16%; fraction less than 40 microns 29 - 45%. The refractory compound also contains, by wt. with respect to base mixture, 0.02-0.08% of organic fibres and 0.075-1% of a surface-active agent. The refractory compound can be sintered to produce refractory products where (Lmax - L1350/ L)
