Droplet divider (1) has a drive (46) with a screw (44) which is rotated by an electric servo motor, a worm wheel (47) interacting with the screw, and a rotating toothed wheel (53) arranged coaxially to the worm wheel. The toothed wheel interacts with a pinion gear (58).
