Zusammenfassung:	The system has a fuel feed line, an excess fuel return line, at least one fuel pressure pump, an intermediate fuel tank for holding sufficient fuel for the pump and a sucking jet pump with a nozzle arrangement for supplying the intermediate tank with fuel. The fuel feed line has at least one opening into the tank before the nozzle arrangement has so that only some of the returned fuel flows through the sucking jet pump to the intermediate tank. The system (1) has a fuel feed line (10) from a fuel tank (2) to an engine (14) or fuel injection system, an excess fuel return line (16), at least one fuel pressure pump (12), an intermediate fuel tank (6) for holding sufficient fuel for the pump and a sucking jet pump with a nozzle arrangement for supplying the intermediate tank with fuel. The fuel feed line has at least one opening (28) into the tank before the nozzle arrangement has so that only some of the returned fuel flows through the sucking jet pump to the intermediate tank. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a sucking jet pump, especially for an inventive system.
