The upper linkage and the lower linkage are mounted on a protrusion (8) at right angles to the handle at a distance from each other so that an action direction of the handle is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the protrusion. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a motor vehicle with an inventive parking brake.
