Zusammenfassung: | An electronic interconnect assembly includes a high speed interconnect for a coaxial transmission line having a central signal conductor and a surrounding shield conductor; a mechanical alignment facility having coarse and fine mechanical alignment portions; and spring latch facility for biasing the shoulder portion against the free end face. The coaxial interconnect has male and female sides with respective signal portion. An electronic interconnect assembly comprises: (1) a high speed interconnect for a coaxial transmission line with a central signal conductor (81) and a surrounding shield conductor; (2) a mechanical alignment facility with coarse and fine mechanical alignment portions; and (3) spring latch facility for biasing the shoulder portion against the free end face. The coaxial interconnect has male and female sides with respective signal portion. The male signal portion has elongated free end extending from a shoulder portion. The female signal portion has free end face and defines a bore, such that the interconnection is made when the free end of the male portion is received in the bore and the shoulder portion abuts the free end face. The coarse mechanical alignment portion includes a closely mating pocket and body. The pocket has a rim and a floor recessed below the rim. One side of interconnect is connected to the floor such that the rim provides a first angular displacement limit of the body. The fine mechanical alignment portion includes a notch (46) defined in the pocket or in the body, and a key closely mating with the notch, such that the notch provides a second angular displacement limit of the body. The pocket or the body is attached to the male or female sides or vice versa. |
