The connection takes place over rim circumference in distributed manner by local, mechanical cold deformation of material of both parts to be fitted.Viewed in fitting direction the deformation forms, behind front part, countersink in rear part, connecting positively both parts without separating rear part by through part. Pref. the countersinking is formed by pressing stamping rivet through front into rear part and its spreading. Independent claim is included for use of mfg. method.
