Portable terminal device

A mobile phone includes a light emitting section and a flat space section in a case thereof. In the surface of the case, the mobile phone includes a window section through which light emitted from the light emitting section is transmitted. The light emitting section includes a light emitting surface directed in a direction along a surface of a wiring board located in the case, and emits light to the space section. When light beams of three colors, red, green, and blue, are emitted from the light emitting section, the light beams are mixed in the space section and emitted through the window section to the outside of the case. This mobile phone can be made thinner and can emit light with high uniform luminance from the window section.
