Zusammenfassung:The application for a system consisting of a hydraulic excavator (1) comprising a main controller (41), GPS device (23), and communication device (42), and a management server (17). During a non-operation time when an engine key is off, the hydraulic excavator uses the GPS device to determine current positions regularly at preset time intervals and the main controller and the communication device to transmit data on current positions and data on determination dates to the management server. The management server receives positional data incoming regularly with a communication device (16a) and preserves them into its storage section (18) sequentially. The management server presents a readiness for location by using the current positional data and determination date data in the positional information providing section. Thus, when the hydraulic excavator moves, a positional change is recognized on a map to enable the tracking of the movement of the hydraulic excavator, so that this operation can serve for location and theft proofing.
