Zusammenfassung:A dispensing valve comprising a float (154) within a cavity (145), a locking mechanism for locking the float for rotation with a stem (102), and an adjusting mechanism on a valve housing (69) and on the float for selectively adjusting the travel of a piston (144) to selectively adjust the volume of the cavity. A dispensing valve comprising: (a) a tubular valve housing having an inner wall and an annular upper surface within the inner wall; (b) an axially movable piston within the inner wall, where the inner wall, the annular upper surface, and the piston define a cavity; (c) a stem having a longitudinal axis and an axial discharge passage leading to a discharge port; (d) the stem being axially movable between an extended position where the discharge passage is sealed and a depressed position where the discharge passage is in communication with the cavity; (e) a stem urging mechanism for urging the stem toward the extended position; (f) the stem being rotatable about the longitudinal axis; (g) a float within the cavity; (h) a locking mechanism for locking the float for rotation with the stem; (i) the float being axially movable within the cavity independent of the stem; and (j) an adjusting mechanism on the valve housing and on the float for selectively adjusting the travel of the piston to selectively adjust the volume of the cavity where the travel is adjusted by changing the angular orientation of the stem and the float about the axis.
