Zusammenfassung:The filter comprises a media having two opposite ends. A sealing system includes a frame construction and a seal. The frame construction includes an extension an extension projecting axially from one of the flow faces. The seal is supported by the extension of the frame construction. The filter comprises a media (100) having two opposite ends. A first flow face is at the first end, and a second flow face (110) at the second end. A sealing system (60) includes a frame construction (205) and a seal (250). The frame construction includes an extension projecting axially from one of the flow faces. The seal is supported by the extension of the frame construction. A portion of the seal projects radially from the extension of the frame construction. Independent claims are also included for the following: (i) an engine air flow system including the filter, comprising an engine having a rated air flow of at least 500 cfm and an air intake system, in which the media is in airflow communication with the air intake system, and a radial seal (172) formed by the seal between and against the extension and an air cleaner; (ii) a method of servicing a filter element comprising inserting the element into a duct, and compressing the seal between and against the extension of the frame construction and the duct to form a radial seal; and (iii) a method of constructing a filter comprising providing a sealing system and a media construction, and mounting the sealing system on the flow faces of the media construction.
