The herbicide composition of the invention containing the substituted pyrazole derivative represented by the formula (I) as an active ingredient has a wide herbicidal spectrum, exerts an excellent herbicidal effect even in a small dose, and shows sufficient safety with respect to a number of important crops, such as rice, wheat and soybeans.
