Zusammenfassung:	Medium specific for a target microbe (TM) allows detection of TM in liquefied environmental or biological samples and contains: (a) vitamins, amino acids, elements and salts to support reproduction of the TM such that a detectable change in the sample can be observed within 18 hrs. when the sample contains 10 microbes/100 ml, and (b) >=1 nutrient indicator (A) to produce a detectable and characteristic signal in the medium if (A) is metabolised by the TM.
