Zusammenfassung:A power control method for a radio transceiver includes the steps of i) transmitting (L17) an input signal (SIN) using an the up- and down-ramp shape (PADAC), the output signal (SOUT) having an output power level (POUT), ii) and correcting (L13) the up- and down-ramp shape (PADAC) used in the transmitting step (L17) by the correction parameter ( DELTA PA) selected, iii) detecting (L21) power level (PA) of the output signal, iv) comparing (L23) the detected power (PA) with a target power level (PT), v) estimating (L27) a new correction parameter (NEW DELTA PA) if the result of the comparing step shows that the power level (PA) detected differs from the target power level (PT) more than a predetermined threshold value, and vi) storing (L28) said correction parameter (NEW DELTA PA) to be used in the selecting step (L11), thus creating a self learning system.
