Zusammenfassung:	A cross shaft structure (2) comprises four shafts (2b) each having the race portions (2c,4a) and the shoulder portions (2d) provided between adjacent neck portions of shaft. An outer ring (4) is fitted to the respective shafts through a rolling unit (3) which rotates on the race portions. The race portions and shoulder portions are subjected to roller burnishing. An independent claim is also included for cross joint manufacture.
