Zusammenfassung:	The invention is directed to a process for preparing an arylolefin or a substituted arylolefin by palladium-catalyzed arylation of vinylolefin with an aryl halide or substituted aryl halide in a liquid polar organic solvent containing one or more secondary or tertiary amines as hydrogen halide acceptor, mixing at least a portion of the reaction mixture with diluted aqueous acid, and separting the formed organic and aqueous phases.
