| Zusammenfassung: | A universal spacer (30) for varying the diameter of a tire tread breaker building drum (10) is disclosed comprising: a cylindrical outer body portion (32) having a plurality of sets of diametrically opposed holes (34) extending therethrough, an inner cylindrical portion (37) having at least two diametrically opposed holes (40) therethrough for varying the diameter of the tire tread breaker building drum (10), the inner cylindrical portion (37) being connected by at least one traveling shaft (16) to the building drum (10) for varying the diameter of the building drum (10), and means for interconnecting the outer cylindrical body portion (32) with the inner cylindrical portion (37) to incrementally adjust the travel distance of a traveling rod and thereby control the diameter of the building drum (10). |
