Zusammenfassung:A heat converter element (1) to convert heat into electrical energy has a downstream voltage converter (3). A set of logical components (4) linked to the voltage converter has a run-off control. A data-transmission unit (5,6) emitting a broadband signal between 300 and 600 kHz connects to the set of logical components operating in a ULP fashion and using less than 10 mW of power. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a thermally fed transmitter and for a system for monitoring/controlling temperature, especially for monitoring cooking areas.
