Zusammenfassung:	Process for determining the sharpness of the chopping blades of a chopping device, especially for determining the change in sharpness between at least two time points, comprises measuring at the time points at least one characteristic variable of the operational vibration of a component of the chopping device. The ratio of the vibrating quantities of at least two frequency bands of the measurement signal or their peaks is determined for each measurement. The change in this ratio between the two measurements is evaluated. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for determining the sharpness of the chopping blades of a chopping device.
