Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a line connector, especially for an electric meter, comprising a longish metallic connecting body (1) having at least one clamping screw (15, 16) on its outer end region (2) for the electroconductive connection of an input line, and a connection part (7,12) on its inner end region (5). The connecting body (1) forms a support surface on its lower side, by which means it rests on a housing wall in the assembled state. Said connecting body (1) comprises a lower surface between the end of the support surface and at least its inner end region (5), said lower surface being staggered in relation to the support surface in the direction of its upper side (11). A through opening (14) extending between the upper side (11) and the lower side is provided between the inner end region (5) and the end of the support surface and is used to improve heat dissipation.
