Zusammenfassung:	Production of a redispersible powder comprises spray drying a polymer dispersion produced by emulsion polymerization of one or more radically polymerizable monomers in an aqueous phase containing dispersed filler particles. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a redispersible powder obtainable by spray drying an aqueous polymer dispersion containing inorganic filler particles and particles of at least one synthetic organic polymer, where the polymer has been polymerized in the presence of the filler particles; (2) a binder composition comprising the redispersible powder and an inorganic or organic binder; (3) an aqueous binder formulation comprising water and the redispersible powder or the binder composition of (2).
