An optical switch fabric comprising a micro mirror array and method therefore

The invention relates to an optical switch fabric (OS) comprising at least one micro mirror array (AR1,AR2) with tilting micro mirrors for individually switching optical paths for optical signals (SRY) between input and output ports, especially fibres or waveguides gathered in at least one fibre arrays (OFA, IFA),comprising a beam splitter (BS1,BS2) and a detector array (DAR1,DAR2), wherein the beam splitter is adjusted to partly reflect the optical signals (SRY) reflecting from the mirrors of said at least one micro mirror array (AR1,AR2,AR3) to said detector array and micro mirror control means (CU1,CU2), that are realised such, that a control signal (CS1, CS2) is generated out of a feedback signal (DS1,DS2) of said a detector array (DAR1,DAR2) to correct the angular positions of the micro mirror and a method therefore.
