Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a welded structural part that is received on a friction bearing and to a method for producing the same, wherein a transmission member (8) is welded to a hub (6) of an externally toothed gear (2). Said structural part has a bore whose inner wall is provided with the functional face (12) of a friction bearing. The invention is further characterized in that said functional face (12) is axially completely disposed within the construction space required by the hub of the gear at an axial distance (26) from the weld seam (10). Axially outside the functional face (12) the inner wall of the bore and the shaft (4) or the bushing system (14A, 14B) define a radial gap (30). According to the method of the invention, the weld seam (10) is not produced before the bore and the external toothing of the gear (2) are finished.
