Zusammenfassung:	For reducing area to install the flue gas cooling apparatus, the flue gas containing dust is cooled and the dust is collected while suppressing the generation of dioxins. An integrated apparatus for cooling the gas and for collecting the dust, and a method thereof are disclosed. The integrated apparatus comprises a plurality of dust collecting sections located in bag filters and a cooling section positioned beneath the dust collecting sections. A temperature-reducing tower which comprises double cylinders, or an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder, is provided with a dust collecting section that collects dust by letting the flue gas swirl to induce inertial force and a cooling section that cools the flue gas after removing the dust therefrom.
