Bumper holder (14) for connecting a motor vehicle bumper (12) to a motor vehicle body (10) is designed as an energy-absorbing deformable metal component in the form of a box profile provided with lock beading (26, 28). Independent claims are also included for a motor vehicle bumper comprising the above bumper holder, and for a motor vehicle provided with the above bumper. Preferred Features: The bumper holder is a bent sheet metal component. The lock beading is provided in two opposite-lying walls (22, 24) of the box profile-like metal component and extends between the open sides of the metal component over the entire width of the wall.
