Zusammenfassung:The machine for the production of filter cigarettes has a main drum (10) to transport the cigarette components of tobacco sticks (11) or part-sticks (12,13), held in troughs. The main drum has segments (16,17), which slide axially in pairs, to move the cigarette part-sticks apart with an axial gap between them. An intermediate segment (22) has a ring rotation between the sliding segments. The cigarettes or their filters are cut through at the center by a cutter, at the intermediate segment, to separate each stick into two separate cigarettes.
