Zusammenfassung: | Particles specially developed for combinatorial chemistry are useful for thermal crosslinking of acrylate hot melt and produce an increase in cohesive properties. This applies to contact adhesive polyacrylates of known composition with crosslinked and functionalized polymer particles, which because of their chemical nature are suitable for supporting crosslinking of contact adhesives. An Independent claim is also included for preparation of a crosslinked contact adhesive composition (CAC) based on polyacrylates obtained by radical polymerization of a monomer mixture containing at least the following components (wt.%): (a) acrylic acid a methacrylic acid derivatives (60-99) of formula (I); and (b) vinyl, acryl- and/or methacrylate monomer with a group X capable of chemical coupling. The polymer is prepared by a known process, so that the polyacrylate contains free X groups, concentration of the CAC to a melt of solvent content less than 2 wt.%, mixing in of the CAC from the crosslinked and functionalized polymer particles in the melt below a critical reaction temperature T in a kneader. The polymer particles include at least two functional groups Y and Z, which can undergo chemical coupling with group X in the form of a substitution or addition reaction, and the crosslinking reaction is carried out so that the temperature of the CAC is brought to at least the critical reaction temperature T, so that the coupling reaction between the functional group X of the polyacrylate and the function groups Y and Z off the polymer particles is achieved. CH2=CH(R1)(COOR2) (I) R1 = H or Me; and R2 = 2-20C alkyl chain. |
