Zusammenfassung:	The object of the present invention is to provide an identity verifying device, identifying method and the like that by utilizing a barcode enable verification by a system totally different from conventional ones. The present invention provides an identification barcode assigning method for assigning an identification barcode to a party desiring identity verification. This assigning method comprises a step of receiving from the party a barcode request signal including a sender number of the party and a step of generating a barcode for the party. A step of transmitting the generated barcode to the party is preferably further provided. The present invention in this manner also provides an assigning device for assigning barcodes, and an identity verifying method and identity verifying device utilizing such barcodes.
