An austenitic alloy with the following composition, in weight-%: Cr 23-30 Ni 25-35 Mo 3-6 Mn 1-6 N 0-0.40 C up to 0.05 Si up to 1.0 S up to 0.02 Cu up to 3.0 and the balance iron and normally occurring impurities and additions.
