Zusammenfassung:	Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Methallylsulfonsäuresalzen durch Sulfonierung von Isobuten mit Lewis-Base/Schwefeltrioxid-Komplexen und anschließende Neutralisation. Production of methallyl sulfonate salts (I) comprises: (a) sulfonating isobutene with a sulfur trioxide/Lewis base complex at -20 to 80 degrees C and 1-15 bar; (b) diluting the reaction mixture with water; (c) adjusting the pH to 6-8 with a base; and (d) isolating (I) from the reaction mixture.
