Zusammenfassung:	In a mobile communication terminal according to an aspect of the invention, it is detects whether an external unit (EU, FU) is connected to an earphone jack (25). If it is detected that an external unit (EU, FU) is connected to the earphone jack (25), it is determined whether the external unit (EU, FU) is an earphone unit (EU) or an electronic flash unit (FU). If the external unit (EU, FU) is the electronic flash unit (FU), an audio path provided in the terminal to transmit an audio signal within the terminal will be connected to a microphone (14) and a speaker (13) provided in the terminal.
