Method for managing a Database

Method for management of a database with a document set, a schema and a repository. The database has a structure index containing document references together with at least a structure path reference to the referenced document. The structure index also contains an error path reference. The method involves searching of the repository to check that the structure path reference and schema path reference match and if yes entry of the document reference in the database repository with an assigned schema path reference. If the references do not match the document reference is still entered in the structure index provided it does not already exist and the structure path reference is entered as an additional path reference. The invention also relates to a corresponding computer system and database.
