Zusammenfassung:A pre-heated metal strip (M) is coated with plastic film (A, B) by passing them between nip rolls (5, 6). A pre-heated metal strip (M) is coated with plastic film (A, B) by passing them between nip rolls (5, 6). At the end of the pressing process, as determined by the forward speed and the nip length (N), the temperature of the strip (M) as well as the contact surface of the film (A, B) is above the melting point of the plastic. The other side of the film (A, B) is below the melting point. Subsequently the residual heat in the strip melts the whole film which is then quenched.
