The filter element includes a center board (230), wherein fluted filter media is coiled around the center board (230). The handle member (70) is integral with the center board (230) which on his part includes a fastening member (240) for connection to said frame construction (72) on the filter element (52). The filter element (52) is for use within an air cleaner.
