An Independent claim is also included for a catalyst housing for receiving a catalyst body, comprising a middle section surrounding the catalyst body and an inlet and/or outlet cone as above, where the middle section has an inwardly sloping bevel at one or both ends to which the inlet or outlet cone is attached.
