Zusammenfassung:	An ink-jet recording material comprising a support material and at least a lower and an upper pigment-containing layer wherein the pigment of the upper layer is present in two particle size distributions (A, B) and one particle size distribution (A) is in the range of 10 to 100 nm and the other particle size distribution (B) is in the range of 1,000 to 3,000 nm, and wherein the pigment of the upper layer is different from the pigment of the lower layer and wherein the average particle size of the pigment of the upper layer is different from the average particle size of the pigment of the lower layer.
