Zusammenfassung:	Arrangement (1) used for adjusting the effective length (Lw) of a sling device (A) designed as an endless sling, especially a textile band forming a round sling or an endless rope, comprises a support part (2) having protrusions arranged a distance apart on two opposite-lying sides around which a section (Al1, Al2) of the sling device is looped. An Independent claim is also included for a device used for lifting a load comprising the endless sling. Preferred Features: The protrusions are hook-shaped and have raised and recessed areas guiding the sling device.
