Zusammenfassung:	The invention releases to a cantilever type shelf for long products such as planks, tubes iron profiles and the like. Said cantilever type shelf consists of stands (1) and cantilevers (2) extending therefrom. The aim of the invention is to provide a cantilever type shelf with an extremely high carrying capacity and/or an optimum adaptability to the particular application that can be produced without problem and assembled as easy as possible. To this end, the stands (1) consist of profiled sheet metal flanges (10) that are linked by a web (12) and form approximately a double T structure. Said sheet metal flanges (10) are provided with a vertical groove (11) to which the web (12) adjoins, said vertical groove (11) having lateral holding openings (15).
